FISH AND CHIPS – A MANLY TRADITION
There is something about being by the beach and the smell of salt air. It creates this great desire to have fish and chips. There is nothing like freshly cooked hot greasy battered fish with chips and lots of salt. Yum!
Unfortunately, the seagulls think the same and have become a real pest around Sydney’s waterfronts including Manly. It is a bad idea to feed the seagulls. With only a little encouragement they will take over your nice spot and raid your food. Apart from that, they do carry disease and if they land on your food don’t eat it.
The Manly tourism people list these places to buy your grease and salt hit (or healthy options if you are good). Please email us if you know of other places or tell us what is your favourite place to eat and we’ll add it to our list.
